FAQ
Shower Door Installation questions
Short answers about how the referral works and what to expect from a provider.
How does this work? (¿Cómo funciona?)
Send the form with a few details about your shower. We share your request with a local provider, who contacts you directly with availability and a quote. Puede escribir su solicitud en español o en inglés; many local providers speak Spanish, but we cannot promise it for any one request.
Does it cost anything to ask?
No. Sending a request is free and there is no obligation to hire anyone. No tiene ningún costo.
Do providers speak Spanish?
Many local providers speak Spanish, but we cannot promise it for any one request. Say in your message that you prefer Spanish and the provider can respond accordingly.
How much does a shower door cost?
It depends on glass thickness, frameless versus framed, custom sizing and hardware finish. Simple doors often cost a few hundred dollars, while custom frameless doors can reach a couple of thousand or more. A provider has to measure your opening for a real quote.
How long does installation take?
The install itself is often a few hours. Custom glass is cut after measuring, so expect roughly two to four weeks between the measure and the install. Stock sizes can be faster.
What should I measure before asking for a quote?
The opening width at the top, middle and bottom, the height from the curb, and whether your walls are tile, fiberglass or acrylic. A photo of the space also helps.
Can an old shower door be removed and replaced?
Yes, many providers will remove the old door and install the new one. Mention it in your request and ask whether removal is included in the quote.
Which areas are covered?
McAllen and nearby towns listed on the service area page. Providers confirm coverage for your exact location.
Ready for a real number?
Send one request. A local provider sees the job and quotes, free and with no obligation.
